Job summary

Confidential Careers is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our Projects team in Dammam. You will supervise maintenance across HVAC, plumbing, water systems, and energy initiatives in malls and commercial buildings.

You will coordinate technicians, ensure compliance with Saudi mechanical codes and Civil Defense, and drive CMMS/CAFM usage and KPI reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• 5-7 years of experience in Facilities Management.
• Experience in malls, commercial buildings, hospitals, or mixed-use developments.

Responsibilities

• Supervise preventive and corrective maintenance of HVAC, ventilation, plumbing, drainage, water supply, sewage, fire-fighting, LPG, and water treatment systems.
• Monitor daily mechanical operations and troubleshoot equipment faults.
• Supervise mechanical technicians and service contractors.
• Ensure compliance with mechanical codes, safety regulations, and Civil Defense requirements.
• Coordinate mechanical shutdowns with mall operations and tenants.
• Monitor HVAC performance and energy-efficiency initiatives.
• Conduct inspections and condition assessments of mechanical equipment.
• Support CAPEX projects, renovations, and tenant fit-out activities.
• Prepare maintenance and KPI reports.
• Manage spare-parts requirements and ensure maintenance activities are updated in CAFM/CMMS.
• Participate in emergency response, incident investigations, and troubleshooting activities.
• Support 24/7 mall operations, including emergency call-outs when required.

Requirements

• Strong hands‑on experience with:
• Chillers, AHUs, FCUs, Package Units & Split ACs
• Plumbing & Drainage Systems
• Water Supply & Booster Pumps
• Sewage & Storm Water Systems
• Fire Fighting & Fire Pump Systems
• LPG Systems
• Ventilation & Exhaust Systems
• Preventive & Corrective Maintenance
• Contractor & Service Provider Management
• Good English communication and MS Office skills.
• Experience with CMMS/CAFM systems is preferred.
• Knowledge of Saudi mechanical codes and Civil Defense requirements is preferred.
• Experience with BMS integration, D365, CAFM/CMMS, and energy‑efficiency initiatives is an advantage.
• Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings.
