Job summary

The role involves preparing drawings and specs, performing load calculations, coordinating with multiple stakeholders, attending site meetings, and supporting QA, cost control, and sustainability initiatives throughout design, construction, and commissioning.

Qualifications

• Relevant bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering (or a closely related field).
• Experience in commercial, hospitality, or mixed-use real estate projects, preferably within the Riyadh Region or Saudi market.
• Familiarity with local and international building codes, safety standards, and sustainability practices.
• Proficiency in engineering design and coordination software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively on-site with multidisciplinary teams.
• Candidates should have experience of more than 10 years.

Responsibilities

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) Engineer role based in the Riyadh Region. The MEP Engineer will design, review, and coordinate mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems for commercial and hospitality real estate projects, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards. Daily responsibilities include preparing and reviewing drawings and technical specifications, performing load calculations, and evaluating system performance and efficiency. The role involves coordinating with architects, structural engineers, contractors, and suppliers, attending site meetings, and resolving technical issues during design, construction, and commissioning. The MEP Engineer will also support quality assurance, cost control, and sustainability initiatives, and prepare reports and documentation for project stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) engineering skills, including Building Services design and integration.
• Candidates should possess practical Plumbing engineering skills, including system layout, sizing, and compliance with local codes.
• Candidates should possess solid Electrical Engineering skills, including power distribution, lighting, and low-voltage systems design.
• Candidates should possess effective MEP Coordination skills, managing interfaces between mechanical, electrical, and plumbing disciplines and other trades.
