AtkinsRéalis in Saudi Arabia seeks a Commercial Manager to oversee all contractual and commercial aspects of large-scale masterplan development projects. You will manage contracts, review terms, and ensure regulatory compliance while supporting project teams to deliver on time and within budget.

The role requires 10+ years of contract management in masterplan contexts, strong knowledge of FIDIC/NEC, excellent negotiation skills, and a solid financial acumen.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/master’s degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, Law, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in contract management and commercial roles within masterplan development projects.
• Strong knowledge of FIDIC, NEC, or other standard forms of construction contracts.
• Proficiency in contract administration, claims management, and dispute resolution.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Strong financial acumen and cost-control expertise.
• Ability to interpret legal documents and contractual obligations.
• Effective leadership and team management skills.
• High attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office and project management software.

Responsibilities

• Manage and administer contracts.
• Review, negotiate, and finalize contract terms with clients, consultants, and contractors.
• Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and contractual obligations.
• Monitor project budgets, costs, and financial performance.
• Prepare and review claims, variations, and change orders.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies.
• Provide commercial advice and support to project teams.
• Maintain accurate records of contracts, payments, and correspondence.
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and stakeholders to resolve disputes.
• Prepare reports on commercial performance and contractual issues for senior management.
• Ensure timely invoicing, payment collection, and financial reporting.
