Job summary

A leading technology firm in Saudi Arabia seeks a Cyber Security Resident Engineer to lead cybersecurity implementation. The role involves maintaining plant networks and ensuring compliance with cybersecurity policies. Ideal candidates will have a degree in IT, 2-3 years of relevant experience, and hands-on skills with cybersecurity tools and programming languages. Strong problem-solving skills and pressure management abilities are essential. This position provides opportunities to support the plant's key metrics and contribute to safety and security measures.

Qualifications

• A degree in computer science, IT, systems engineering, or a related qualification.
• 2-3 years of experience in the same field.
• Must be out of work for 3 months or more.
• Hands-on experience with Ethernet IP and various industrial field bus communication networks.
• Strong awareness of cybersecurity trends and hacking techniques.

Responsibilities

• Implement cybersecurity controls and solutions developed under the program.
• Act as a single point of contact for plant manufacturing team concerning cybersecurity.
• Utilize plant IT reporting systems to identify, communicate, and fix security issues.
• Maintain asset inventory of all manufacturing networked assets.
• Document lessons learned for continuous improvements.
