Job summary

Accor Riyadh is seeking a friendly Host/Hostess to welcome guests, seat them, and ensure a seamless dining experience in our luxury setting.

You will manage reservations and seating, coordinate with service and kitchen teams, and maintain an elegant reception area while upholding Mövenpick presentation standards. Fluent English is required; Arabic is advantageous. Flexible shifts including weekends are expected. Minimum 1–2 years in a 5-star hotel or luxury restaurant.

Qualifications

• Experience in a host/hostess or guest-facing role in a luxury setting is preferred.
• Fluency in English is required; Arabic language skills are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests using their names when possible; escort to tables and introduce servers.
• Manage restaurant floor flow to balance table distributions and avoid bottlenecks.
• Handle reservations and walk-ins using the restaurant management system (TableCheck, OpenTable or SevenRooms).
• Optimize seating for breakfasts, lunches, theme nights, and events; maintain updated guest history (dietary restrictions, seating requests, special occasions).
• Maintain a pristine reception desk and collaborate with service and kitchen teams to communicate changes and requests.
• Assist service during peaks by clearing and resetting tables; stay informed about daily specials and promotions; uphold grooming standards.
• Handle guest complaints diplomatically and escalate to Restaurant Manager when needed.
• Support localization goals by embodying authentic hospitality and local cultural environment.
