Four Seasons Resort AMAALA at Triple Bay in Saudi Arabia seeks a technically skilled Engineering Manager to oversee daily maintenance and operations of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and life safety systems, ensuring safety, comfort, and luxury.

You will manage a team, supervise preventive maintenance, and support pre-opening setup, reporting to the Director of Engineering in a luxury resort environment.

Qualifications

• A degree or diploma in Engineering, Facilities Management, or related technical field.
• 5+ years in engineering operations with 2+ years in a leadership role, ideally in luxury hotels.
• Strong knowledge of building systems (mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC) and preventive maintenance.
• Proficiency in fire life safety systems and emergency response protocols.
• Sustainability initiatives and energy-saving programs are important.
• Fluency in English is required.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily activities of engineering and maintenance teams to ensure quality work.
• Conduct regular inspections of property to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Oversee preventive maintenance for guest rooms, public areas, kitchens, pools, and critical systems.
• Ensure compliance with health, fire life safety, and building codes.
• Respond to guest requests and emergencies to minimize downtime.
• Manage budgets, monitor energy use, and implement cost-saving measures.
• Train and develop the engineering team to Four Seasons standards.
• Support pre-opening setup including equipment installation and testing.
