Four Seasons Resort AMAALA at Triple Bay in Saudi Arabia seeks a technically skilled Engineering Manager to oversee daily maintenance and operations of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and life safety systems, ensuring safety, comfort, and luxury.

You will manage a team, supervise preventive maintenance, and support pre-opening setup, reporting to the Director of Engineering in a luxury resort environment.

Qualifications

• A degree or diploma in Engineering, Facilities Management, or related technical field.
• 5+ years in engineering operations with 2+ years in a leadership role, ideally in luxury hotels.
• Strong knowledge of building systems (mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC) and preventive maintenance.
• Proficiency in fire life safety systems and emergency response protocols.
• Sustainability initiatives and energy-saving programs are important.
• Fluency in English is required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections of property to ensure safety and efficiency.

About the location:

AMAALA is situated along Saudi Arabia’s northwest coast and is home to some of the most diverse natural environments. The resort will include a luxury spa nestled within its garden of tranquility and inspiration featuring a sculptured waterfall. About the Role

We are seeking a technically skilled and detail-oriented Engineering Manager to join the pre-opening team at Four Seasons Resort and Residences AMAALA at Triple Bay. Reporting to the Director of Engineering , you will be responsible for overseeing the daily maintenance and operational efficiency of all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and life safety systems, ensuring the resort’s infrastructure operates to the highest standards of safety, comfort, and luxury.

What You Will Do

• Manage and supervise the daily activities of the engineering and maintenance team, ensuring all tasks are completed promptly and professionally.
• Conduct regular inspections of all areas of the property to ensure systems are operating efficiently and safely.
• Oversee preventive maintenance programs for guest rooms, public areas, kitchens, pools, and all critical systems (HVAC, MEP, etc.).
• Ensure compliance with local health, safety, fire life safety, and building codes.
• Respond swiftly to guest requests, maintenance issues, and emergency situations, minimizing downtime and service interruptions.
• Manage department budgets, monitor energy consumption, and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality.
• Train, motivate, and develop the engineering team to uphold Four Seasons standards.
• Support pre-opening setup including equipment installation, system testing, and operational readiness.

What You Bring

• A degree or diploma in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related technical field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in engineering operations , with 2 years in a leadership role , ideally in luxury hotels or resorts.
• Strong knowledge of building systems (mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC) and preventive maintenance.
• Proficiency in fire life safety systems and emergency response protocols.
• Solid understanding of sustainability initiatives and energy-saving programs.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and team management skills.
• Fluency in English is required.
