Job summary

Red Sea Global Hospitality is seeking an Assistant Recreation Manager to oversee Turtle Bay Hotel's recreation and leisure facilities, supporting the Head of Spa & Recreation. You will manage daily operations, lead the recreation team, and ensure exceptional guest experiences across activities and wellness programs.

The role requires proactive leadership, strong safety standards, and the ability to design engaging programs while coordinating with other departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Hospitality Management, Recreation Management, Sports Management, Leisure Management, Tourism, Wellness, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in recreation, leisure, wellness, fitness, or guest activities within a luxury hotel, resort, wellness destination, or similar hospitality environment.
• 1–2 years of experience in a supervisory or management capacity, with responsibility for leading a recreation, leisure, fitness, or activities team.
• Proven experience overseeing the daily operations of recreation facilities, activities, and guest programs.
• Strong knowledge of health, safety, hygiene, risk management, and emergency procedures relevant to recreation operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of recreation and leisure facilities.
• Lead and develop the recreation team including supervisors, lifeguards, fitness trainers, and activity coordinators.
• Plan and coordinate diverse recreational, wellness, fitness, and sports activities for varying guest profiles.
• Monitor guest participation, preferences, and feedback to improve programs.
• Coordinate with other hotel departments for seamless guest experiences.
• Assist in departmental budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and resource planning.
