Job summary

KBR, Inc. in Riyadh is seeking an experienced Logistics Manager - Saudi National to lead site logistics on a major infrastructure programme.

You will work under the Senior Logistics Manager, coordinating logistics planning, site interactions, and contractor supervision to keep the project on schedule and within safety standards. The role requires a strong background in civil and infrastructure logistics, 15+ years overall, 5+ years in similar roles, and fluency in English with Arabic language

Qualifications

• Requires a BSc in construction management, engineering, architecture or equivalent.
• Minimum 15 years overall experience in civil/infrastructure projects.
• Minimum 5 years in a similar logistics role.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the Middle East.
• Proven ability to manage consultants and contractors.
• Fluent in English; Arabic language skills desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop, monitor and update the Project Logistics Management Plan.
• Coordinate with Operations and Logistics & Asset Management teams.
• Supervise logistics supply contractors.
• Ensure contractors' logistics plans align with the Project Logistics Management Plan.
• Support Construction Supervisors and Contractors to resolve security and logistics issues.
• Liaise with Engineering Team to support constructability and logistics requirements.
• Monitor and report on performance of construction supervisors and contractors, including QHS&E compliance.

KBR will provide Project Management Consultancy services in project planning, controls, design and engineering management, and implementation of the development and early works packages.

The Role

Reports to the Senior Logistic Manager for logistics management of project sites.

Main Responsibilities

• Develop, monitor and update the Project Logistics Management Plan
• Interface within the Operations and Logistics & Asset Management Team to ensure coordination and implementation of logistics works is in line with and supports the overall allocated project deliverables
• Supervise the logistics supply contractors
• Ensure that Contractors’ logistics management plans are in line with the requirements of the Project Logistics Management Plan
• Support the Construction Supervisors and Contractors to resolve security and logistics issues.
• Liaise strongly with the Engineering Team to assist in the development of design solutions that promote constructability and logistical requirements
• Monitoring and reporting on the performance of the construction supervisors and the contractors, including on QHS&E requirements.

Experience, Skills And Knowledge

• BSc construction management, engineering, architecture or equivalent.
• Minimum 15 years overall experience
• Minimum 5 years experience ins a similar role
• Minimum 5 years of working experience in Middle east
• Knowledge of operational aspects of civil & infrastructure projects including roads, bridges and utilities with experience in construction management and practice
• Experience and skills of managing consultants and contractors
• User of MS Office
• Fluency in English language both written and spoken
• Arabic language skills
