Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent education level preferred.
• Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the construction or logistics industry.
• Ability to operate loading equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy materials regularly.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the loading and unloading of materials onto trucks.
• Assign tasks to loaders and ensure they are completed efficiently and safely.
• Train new loaders on proper loading procedures and equipment usage.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate any shortages or discrepancies to management.
• Maintain a clean and organized loading area.
• Adhere to safety protocols and ensure all loaders are following safety guidelines.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to management.
• Keep records of daily loading activities, including quantities loaded and time spent on each task.
