Qualifications

• Previous Loader Supervisor experience is preferred.
• Strong leadership skills to motivate and train others.
• Excellent communication with team members, drivers and staff.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while following safety protocols.
• Self-motivation and strong problem-solving abilities.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays if needed.
• Physical fitness to lift heavy objects.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate loading and unloading of cargo from trucks or ships.
• Ensure loaders follow all safety procedures.
• Train new loaders on loading techniques and safety measures.
• Monitor inventory levels and maintain records of loaded cargo.
• Communicate with truck drivers, ship captains and other personnel for timely loading/unloading.
• Troubleshoot issues or delays in the loading process.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times.
• Inspect equipment and report maintenance or repair needs.
