Job summary

International Maritime Industries is seeking a Security Shift Supervisor to oversee a security shift, ensuring gates, posts, and patrols are properly staffed and equipped. The role includes delegating duties, investigating incidents, and preparing accurate reports for leadership.

The ideal candidate has extensive security management experience, PFSO and ISO certifications, and proven ability to lead teams through drills, risk assessments, and incident responses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business/management or security.
• Certifications in security management and leadership.
• PFSO certification and ISO security officer certification.
• Leadership and management training or certificates.
• Experience in security operations and risk assessment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all security shift activities and ensure coverage for gates, posts, and patrols.
• Review staffing levels and delegate duties; manage calls for extra hours.
• Investigate incidents and complaints; compile reports for records.
• Ensure availability and readiness of security equipment and tools.
• Supervise shift team, conduct patrols, and walk-rounds of the site.
• Evaluate officers’ performance and coordinate security drills and critiques.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration

Diploma related program (Security/Management)

Port Facility Security Officer (PFSO) certificate

Industrial Security Officer (ISO) certificate

Leadership/Management certificate
