Job summary

Wood is seeking a Lead Quality & Inspection Plant to support the Projects business in Ar Rjum, KSA, aligning with Vision 2030. You will lead quality management across the organization, drive continuous improvement, and ensure delivery of first-time quality on projects for Ma’aden’s gold mining initiative.

The role requires 10+ years in quality, Lead Auditor credentials, ISO 9001 knowledge, and strong data analysis and stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

  • Degree/diploma or local equivalent in Quality management, project management, or related discipline.
  • Lead Auditor qualification by a recognized industry body (essential).
  • Membership of CQI/ASQ Quality organizations (desirable).
  • Formal training in recognized root cause analysis techniques (essential).

Responsibilities

  • Support management of all quality aspects across the organization and services.
  • Identify and engage stakeholders to promote quality management and gather feedback.
  • Plan and allocate resources enabling delivery of objectives and deliverables.
  • Implement Wood BMS across the organization and monitor compliance.
  • Ensure consistent quality systems (NCR, improvement actions, lessons learned).
  • Support tenders and proposal activities for the organization.
  • Plan and execute risk-based assurance plans and escalate findings.
  • Monitor delivery performance data and report themes to senior leaders.
  • Provide quality support through Supply Chain to ensure right-first-time delivery.

Job description

Wood is currently looking for Lead Quality & Inspection Plant to support our Projects business. Ma’aden is executing a strategic project to develop a new gold mine and processing facility in alignment with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 and Ma’aden’s 2040 Strategic Objectives. Located in Ar Rjum, KSA .

Responsibilities
  • Supporting the management of all aspects of Quality across the breadth of their respective organization and the services we provide.
  • Identification and regular engagement with key stakeholders to promote quality management and gather feedback on performance.
  • Support the effective planning and allocation of resources (including people and budgets) enabling the delivery of agreed objectives and deliverables.
  • Implementing the Wood Business Management System (BMS) across their organization ensuring that its application is effective and that compliance with the system is routinely monitored, assessed, and improved as necessary. Facilitate external BMS certification as appropriate.
  • Ensuring consistent and effective implementation of Quality supporting systems across their organization (e.g., NCR, improvement actions, lessons learned, etc).
  • Supporting tenders and proposal activities for their organization
  • Planning and execution of risk-based assurance plans including the escalation of significant findings to program/project leaders.
  • Monitoring and analysis of delivery performance data, regularly reporting themes and trends to senior leaders, and undertaking intervention as required.
  • Ensuring quality support through Supply Chain processes to ensure the right first-time delivery of products and services
  • Gathering and acting upon customer feedback ensuring action is taken to maintain and improve customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Proficient in the analysis of processes and data
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • High Level of communication skills in both written and spoken format
  • Proficient in the use of continuous improvement tools and techniques
