Job summary

raafa Club in Western Australia is seeking an experienced Kitchenhand to support our Food & Beverage team. The role is permanent part-time, about 30 hours per fortnight, with shifts Tuesday to Saturday 9:00am–5:00pm, at the raafa Club in Cambrai Village Estate, Merriwa.

You will wash, store and sort utensils, handle food items, assist with salads and desserts, dispose of waste, launder kitchen linen, and deliver food during meals.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Food Hygiene regulations.
• Current training in Food Safe Programs.
• Ability to work autonomously and under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Wash and clean utensils and dishes and ensuring appropriate storage.
• Handle, sort, store and distribute food items.
• Wash, peel, chop, cut and cook food stuffs and assist with preparing salads and desserts.
• Sort and dispose of rubbish and recycling.
• Organise laundering of kitchen linen.
• Cleaning of all food preparation equipment, floors and other kitchen tools and areas.
• Delivering food to the Lodge at meal times.
• Good organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to work autonomously with limited supervision and to work under pressure.
• Ability Demonstrated ability to work independently and within a team environment.
• Commitment to continuous improvement principles.
• Knowledge of Food Hygiene regulations.
