Job summary

raafa Home Care is seeking dedicated carers to join our Perth region teams, delivering in-home support to clients in Northern and Southern Suburbs. This permanent part-time role focuses on helping clients live independently at home, with personal care, medication support, meal prep and shopping assistance as core duties.

Qualifications

• Be eligible to work in Australia.
• A valid driver's licence with access to your own vehicle.
• Satisfactory National Police Certificate (on commencement of employment to be within six months from date of issue) or willing to obtain one.
• Be up to date with your Flu vaccinations.

Responsibilities

• Support Clients to remain living at home.
• Assist with client's personal care.
• Assist clients with the management of their medication.
• Assist in the preparation of meals for the clients.
• Provide support to clients by assisting with shopping.
• Support the clients socially and domestically while creating a positive rapport.
• Encourage and promote the independence and freedom of choice of clients.

raafa Home Care is the in-home support division of raafa, specialising in quality care for individuals with Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA) and Veterans Home Care (VHC) eligibility, as well as private services, Home Care Packages and Commonwealth Home Support. As a Community Support Worker for raafa Home Care you will be expected to adhere to raafa's quality of service in All Perth areas.
