Career Nest Academy is seeking a Junior Pastry Sous Chef in Al Khobar to support the Head Pastry Chef in managing the pastry section. You will oversee daily production, from viennoiserie to plated desserts, ensuring uncompromising quality and leading the team in the Chef’s absence.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of pastry experience, 2–3 years as Chef de Partie Pastry in fine dining, and strong skills in viennoiserie, doughs, creams, and chocolate work.

Formación

• 3–5 years of dedicated pastry experience.
• 2–3 years as Chef de Partie Pastry in a fine dining or upscale restaurant setting.
• Proficient in viennoiserie, doughs, creams, and chocolate work.
• Strong understanding of shelf life, storage protocols and allergen controls.
• English fluency mandatory; French or another European language is advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Execute classic and contemporary pastry techniques with precision, care, and presentation.
• Mentor and develop the pastry team; lead the section in Head Pastry Chef's absence.
• Plan daily production, monitor shelf life, enforce FIFO and labeling standards.
• Maintain hygiene, quality, and a clean, safe workspace in compliance with standards.
• Monitor stock, control portions, and minimize waste while preserving premium quality.
