Job summary

InterContinental Hotels Group' Crowne Plaza Al Khobar is seeking an IT Supervisor to install new systems, boost security and maintain high IT standards across the hotel.

You will be the primary contact for hardware servicing, keep LAN to POS systems current, safeguard cyber security, and lead training for hotel staff while reporting to the GM, DOF and Area IT Leader.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Vocational Certificate in Computer Science or IT.
• 4 years’ related experience with computer set-up and troubleshooting.
• Working knowledge of networks, operating systems, and databases.
• Knowledge in PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards).
• Great communication skills and ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Be the primary contact for servicing computer hardware, ensuring systems are installed properly and functioning; report back to GM, DOF and Area IT Leader.
• Maintain up-to-date with approved systems and technology – from LAN to POS.
• Maintain hardware and software performance and security standards; evaluate vendor proposals.
• Share expertise with hotel team by running knowledge sharing and training sessions.
• Safeguard IT infrastructure against cyber threats.
