Job summary

Mattex Group in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, is seeking an IT Desktop Support Specialist to deliver first and second-line technical support for end users. You will maintain Windows/macOS workstations, assist with Microsoft 365, and secure IT operations across the organization.

Ideal candidates have IT-related degree or diploma, 2–8 years of desktop support experience, strong problem-solving and communication skills, and the ability to manage tickets within SLAs. Full-time position.

Qualifications

• Must have a degree or diploma in IT, CS, or related field.
• 2–8 years of desktop or IT support experience.
• Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft 365, and networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
• Experience with ticketing systems; good hardware troubleshooting and cybersecurity basics.

Responsibilities

• Support desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
• Install and maintain Windows/macOS and business applications.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.
• Manage user accounts and access (Active Directory / Office 365).
• Handle onboarding and offboarding of user devices.
• Resolve helpdesk tickets within SLAs.
• Perform system updates, patches, and antivirus maintenance.
• Support VPN and remote access.
• Maintain IT asset records and documentation.
• Coordinate with vendors for repairs and warranties.
