Job summary

BAE Systems is seeking a qualified Hawk Instructor based in Saudi Arabia. Responsibilities include following directives from the Head of Flying and delivering flying training instruction to RSAF and BAE students.

The successful candidate will be a qualified QFI, QWI, FCI or equivalent on Fast Jet aircraft with good people development competencies. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to influence Saudi cadets effectively.

Qualifications

• Must have completed one instructional tour.
• Currency and instructional experience commensurate with similar RAF.

Responsibilities

• Follow Head of Flying directives and governance requirements.
• Deliver flying training instruction to RSAF and BAE Students.
• Manage distribution and amendment of flying related publications.

Job description

Job Accountabilities

• Follow Head of Flying (HoF) King Faisal Air Base directives and flying governance requirements.
• Assist HoF KFAB tasking where appropriate.
• Follow IST Instructional Guidelines and standards; provide input and assist with IST tasking.
• Follow Squadron Supervisor directives for flying governance and training delivery requirements.
• Develop and maintain diplomatic relations with RSAF Officers and Trainees.
• Execute primary duty as Hawk Instructor in accordance with RSAF and BAE rules and regulations.
• Execute secondary duties as set by the Squadron Supervisor.
• Maintain professional discipline and assist other squadron members in delivery of LOA3 training.
• Maintain computer competency in Microsoft Office programs.
• Deliver flying training instruction to RSAF and BAE Students IAW RSAF/BAE rules, regulations and guidelines.
• Manage distribution and amendment of flying related publications and documents.
• Maintain instructor and trainee records and manage relevant training documentation.
• Maintain Squadron History records.
• Plan and schedule squadron activities.

Recruitment Specification

• Qualified as a QFI, QWI, FCI or equivalent on Fast Jet aircraft.
• Must have completed one Instructional tour.
