Job summary

ACWA Power is seeking a Warehouse/Stock Clerk to manage plant inventory, receipts, allocations, and documentation. The role involves inspecting inbound materials, maintaining stock records, and coordinating with procurement on damaged or non-conforming items.

The ideal candidate has a degree or diploma in a related field, at least 3 years in similar functions, and strong English communication. ISO/OSH awareness is preferred; safety and environment considerations are key.

Qualifications

Education: Degree / Diploma in related field.
Minimum 3 years in same functions.
Preferable 6 years in related role.

Responsibilities

Maintains district inventory for Plant supplies including ordering, receiving and allocating.
Prepare and type annual requisitions, orders, reports and correspondence.
Receives and inspects incoming materials, reconciles with PO, processes and distributes documentation.
Post daily incoming and outgoing plant stock.
Reports canceled and damaged items to the purchase department.
Handles storage and transportation of hazardous materials, including identification, segregation and preservation.
Maintains warehouse records and organizes storage areas.
Segregation of waste for proper disposal.
Inform relevant personnel about material arrivals and arrange inspections.
Answer questions about procedures and resolve receipt/delivery discrepancies.
Arrange to return non-conforming materials.
Issue material as per requirements and maintain records.
Perform other duties as assigned.
