Job summary

Eram Talent seeks an experienced Insulation Technician to install, maintain, repair and remove insulation systems on industrial equipment, piping, tanks and vessels at projects across Saudi Arabia.

The ideal candidate has minimum 5 years in industrial insulation, training in thermal insulation, and hands-on ability with mineral wool, fiberglass, and cladding materials. You will read drawings, measure precisely, fit materials, and uphold strict HSE standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical certificate in insulation is preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as insulation technician in industrial/oil & gas sectors.
• Experience with insulation materials such as mineral wool, rock wool, fiberglass, calcium silicate, PIR/PUR.

Responsibilities

• Install and remove insulation on pipes, valves, tanks, vessels, and equipment.
• Apply thermal, acoustic, and fire-resistant insulation systems as specified.
• Read and interpret insulation drawings and work instructions.
• Measure, cut, shape, and fit insulation materials accurately.

Job description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Insulation Technician to install, maintain, repair, and remove thermal, acoustic, and fire-resistant insulation systems on industrial equipment, piping, tanks, vessels, and related structures. The technician will ensure insulation work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications, drawings, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and remove insulation materials on pipes, valves, tanks, vessels, ducts, and equipment.
• Apply thermal, acoustic, and fire-resistant insulation systems as specified.
• Read and interpret insulation drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
• Measure, cut, shape, and fit insulation materials accurately.
• Install cladding, jacketing, vapor barriers, and protective coverings.
• Inspect existing insulation and identify damaged or deteriorated areas.
• Repair and replace insulation as required.
• Ensure proper sealing and weatherproofing of insulation systems.
• Use hand tools, power tools, ladders, scaffolding, and other equipment safely.
• Coordinate with supervisors, welders, pipefitters, mechanical technicians, and other site personnel.
• Maintain proper housekeeping and keep the work area clean and organized.
• Follow all company and project HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, technical certificate, or equivalent qualification.
• Relevant training or certification in insulation is preferred - Thermal Insulation Training, HSE Training
• Minimum 5 years of experience as an insulation technician, preferably in industrial, oil & gas, petrochemical, refinery, or construction projects.
• Experience working with insulation materials such as mineral wool, rock wool, fiberglass, calcium silicate, PIR/PUR, or similar materials.
• Familiarity with aluminum, stainless-steel, or galvanized cladding/jacketing is preferred.
• Ability to read basic technical drawings and measurements.
• Knowledge of workplace safety requirements and PPE.

Required Skills
