Job summary

Abis Co is seeking a QC Inspector for insulation and cladding projects on-site in Saudi Arabia. The role focuses on inspecting insulation installations to verify compliance with drawings, specifications, and standards.

Responsibilities include material verification, thickness checks, calibration of testing equipment, recording results, and raising non-conformances. The ideal candidate has 5–8 years’ experience and a mechanical engineering background with QC certification preferred.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of QC inspection experience on insulation/cladding projects.
• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• QC/inspection certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-process and final inspections on insulation and cladding works.
• Verify insulation material, thickness, and installation method against approved specifications.
• Witness moisture barrier, banding, and cladding installation checks per the ITP.
• Verify materials and batch certificates against approved specifications.
• Record inspection results and raise Non-Conformance Reports as required.
• Coordinate hold points and inspections with client/third-party inspectors.
• Maintain inspection records, checklists, and daily QC reports.
• Verify calibration status of measuring and test equipment used on site.
• Support punch-list generation and verification of closure for insulation works.
• Ensure work fronts comply with approved method statements and insulation standards.
• Support preparation of quality documentation for insulation handover dossiers.
