Job summary

KBR is looking for Insulation Fitter responsible for remove and repair of hot and cold insulation. The role involves applying insulation on industrial equipment, pipes, and ductwork within SATORP Plants, determining material needs, and implementing installation methods.

Prepare surfaces, install protective sheet metal, and select appropriate insulation materials. Must have awareness of HSE rules and PPE usage; minimum 5 years Oil & Gas maintenance experience and a High School diploma required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Oil & Gas maintenance.
• High School diploma.

Responsibilities

• Apply, remove, and repair insulation on industrial equipment, pipes, ductwork, or other mechanical systems within SATORP Plants.
• Determine the amounts and types of insulation needed, and methods of installation, based on location, surface shape, and equipment use.
• Install sheet metal around insulated pipes with screws to protect insulation from weather conditions or physical damage.
• Prepare surfaces for insulation application by brushing or spreading on adhesives.
• Select appropriate insulation such as fiberglass, Styrofoam, or cork based on heat retention or exclusion characteristics.

• Proper knowledge about plant Hazard materials.
• Proper knowledge about PPE & it use.
