Job summary

Abdullah A. Al-Barrak & Son Co. seeks an experienced QC Inspector - Insulation to conduct in-process and final inspections of insulation and cladding works on site in Saudi Arabia.

You will verify materials, thickness, and installation methods, and ensure compliance with project specifications and ITPs. The role requires 5–8 years of relevant experience and a Diploma or Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering, with QC/inspection certification preferred.

Qualifications

• The QC Inspector - Insulation performs inspection and testing of thermal/mechanical insulation and cladding installation activities to verify compliance with drawings, specifications, and applicable standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-process and final inspections on insulation and cladding installation works.
• Verify insulation material, thickness, and installation method against approved specifications.
• Witness moisture barrier, banding, and cladding installation checks per the ITP.
• Verify materials and batch certificates against approved specifications.
• Record inspection results and raise Non-Conformance Reports as required.
• Coordinate hold points and inspections with client/third-party inspectors.
• Maintain inspection records, checklists, and daily QC reports.
• Verify calibration status of measuring and test equipment used on site.
• Support punch-list generation and verification of closure for insulation works.
• Ensure work fronts comply with approved method statements and insulation standards.
• Support preparation of quality documentation for insulation handover dossiers.
