Job summary

Neproplast in Saudi Arabia is seeking an experienced Plastic Injection Molding Machine Operator to join our production team. The ideal candidate will operate and monitor plastic injection molding machines, manage mold operations, and support efficient production with minimal downtime.

Two years of hands-on experience are required, with preference for candidates having background in plastic pipe fittings or related molded plastic products. Rotation shifts are expected in an industrial setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years hands-on experience operating plastic injection molding machines.
• Experience in plastic pipe fittings or molded plastic products preferred.
• Ability to work rotating shifts in an industrial environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor plastic injection molding machines to meet daily production targets.
• Start-up, operation, and shutdown according to established procedures.
• Adjust parameters such as temperature, injection pressure, speed, cycle time, and cooling within limits.
• Assist with mold installation, changes, setup and production start-up activities.
• Monitor material feeding, preparation, and handling per production requirements.
• Conduct routine visual and dimensional inspections of molded products.
• Identify common molding defects and support troubleshooting with maintenance.
• Minimize material waste, rejects, and downtime.
• Maintain records of production output, scrap, downtime, and issues.
• Follow established quality, safety, housekeeping, and production procedures.
• Coordinate with production supervisors, technicians, and quality personnel.

Job Overview

We are seeking experienced Plastic Injection Molding Machine Operator to join our production team.

The ideal candidate must have hands‑on experience operating plastic injection molding machines, understanding mold operations, monitoring production parameters, identifying product defects, and supporting efficient production with minimal downtime.

Candidate with previous experience in manufacturing plastic pipe fittings, molded plastic components, or similar industrial plastic products will be given preference.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor plastic injection molding machines to achieve daily production targets.
• Perform machine start-up, operation, and shutdown according to established procedures.
• Monitor and adjust operating parameters such as temperature, injection pressure, speed, cycle time, and cooling settings within authorized limits.
• Assist with mold installation, changeovers, setup, and production start-up activities.
• Monitor material feeding, preparation, and handling according to production requirements.
• Conduct routine visual and dimensional inspections of molded products.
• Identify common injection molding defects, including flash, short shots, sink marks, warpage, and burn marks.
• Identify basic operational problems, perform permitted adjustments, and coordinate with Maintenance or Tool & Die teams when necessary.
• Minimize material waste, rejected products, and unnecessary machine stoppages.
• Maintain accurate records of production output, scrap, machine downtime, and operational issues.
• Follow established quality, safety, housekeeping, and production procedures.
• Coordinate effectively with production supervisors, technicians, and quality personnel.

Qualifications & Requirements

• High School Certificate, Vocational Certificate, or Technical Diploma.
• Minimum 2 years of direct hands‑on experience operating plastic injection molding machines; 3 years or more preferred.
• Experience in plastic injection molding manufacturing is essential.
• Practical knowledge of injection molding machines, molds, and operating parameters.
• Ability to identify common molding defects and support troubleshooting activities.
• Familiarity with mold changeovers, machine settings, and basic production adjustments is preferred.
• Previous experience manufacturing plastic pipes, fittings, or related molded plastic products is an advantage.
• Ability to work rotating shifts in an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Good awareness of workplace safety and product quality requirements.
• Candidates currently residing in Saudi Arabia and available to join within a short notice period are preferred.
