Job summary

Saudi Gold Refinery (SGR) in Riyadh seeks a seasoned Catering Manager to lead all food service operations across corporate and site facilities. You will ensure compliance with Saudi health regulations and maintain high hygiene and meal quality for a 24/7 workforce.

You will report to the VP of HR, manage budgets and contracts, and optimize vendor performance to sustain operational continuity and employee satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in catering management, with 3 years in an industrial setting.
• Proven experience in managing large-scale catering budgets and negotiating contracts.
• In-depth knowledge of SFDA regulations, HACCP standards is mandatory.
• Experience in managing food services for 24/7 shift-based workforces is required.
• Fluency in both English and Arabic is necessary for effective communications.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and operational metrics.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage third-party vendor relationships.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all food service operations for corporate and site-based facilities.
• Manage end-to-end tendering and contracting for catering services with SLAs.
• Ensure compliance with Saudi health regulations and quality standards.
• Develop and monitor the annual catering budget and cost-per-meal metrics.
• Coordinate catering planning and logistics for all shift rotations, including night shifts.
• Design and monitor rotating menus accommodating diverse dietary needs.
• Implement structured feedback mechanisms to capture employee opinions on service quality.
• Monitor waste and collaborate with vendors to reduce environmental impact.
