Job summary

ACWA Operations is seeking experienced Instrumentation & Control (I&C) Engineers for upcoming opportunities across RO desalination and CCGT power plants in Saudi Arabia.

The role is responsible for planning, supervising, and improving instrumentation and control maintenance activities to ensure reliable measurement, control, and protection systems through effective maintenance planning, troubleshooting, and outage support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
• 8–10 years of instrumentation & control maintenance experience.
• 2+ years in a supervisory role preferred.
• RO desalination or CCGT plant experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan and supervise preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance of instrumentation and control systems.
• Oversee maintenance and troubleshooting of field instruments, analysers, control valves, DCS/PLC systems, and protection equipment.
• Provide technical support for RO desalination instrumentation or CCGT turbine, HRSG, steam-water, and BOP control systems.
• Coordinate instrument calibration, loop checks, functional testing, and protection/interlock testing with Operations.
• Investigate control-system failures, perform root-cause analysis, and implement reliability improvements.
• Manage control logic, setpoints, and configuration changes with accurate documentation and backups.
• Coordinate maintenance activities, outages, and work orders through CMMS/SAP, plus spare parts and evaluations.
• Supervise I&C maintenance personnel, provide technical guidance, and ensure HSE/IMS compliance.
