Job summary
ACWA Power in Saudi Arabia seeks a senior process/maintenance engineer to verify data design specs, develop SOWs, and support O&M for major co-generation plants and MED/SWRO desalination units. You will assist management with technical queries, analyze system upsets, and lead life assessments to extend equipment lifespan.
The role requires 16+ years in O&M of large power/desalination assets, with strong background in process development, corrosion control, and environmental considerations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in Engineering with extensive O&M of major Co-generation Plants and MED + SWRO Desalination units.
- Experience in evaluating plant designs, performing root cause analyses, and similarity technical reviews.
- Familiarity with international standards, materials, corrosion and environmental impact assessments.
Responsibilities
- Carry out verification of data design specifications and plant equipment standards.
- Develop scope of work and functional requirements for equipment modifications.
- Assist management responding to technical queries from Contractors.
- Analyze critical system upsets and recommend preventive actions.
- Perform Residual Life Assessment studies for major equipment.
- Provide engineering support and consultancy across process development and optimization.
- Perform other duties as assigned
