Job summary

NTU International A/S leads a consortium for the EU-funded Egypt Drawdown Facility. We seek a Senior Non-Key Expert in Human Rights, Gender Equality & Civil Society to support assignments in HR, gender equality, social inclusion, and participatory policy dialogue.

Responsibilities include policy assessments, stakeholder consultations, and rights-based approaches in international cooperation, with experience in Egypt or the MENA region highly desirable and French language as an asset.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in relevant field.
• 7+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience with human rights, gender equality, social inclusion or civil society development.

Job description

Senior Non-Key Expert – Human Rights, Gender Equality & Civil Society

NTU International A/S is leading a consortium for the proposal preparation of the EU-funded project called: “Egypt Drawdown Facility.”

The overall objective of this assignment is to enhance the effectiveness, coherence and visibility of the Strategic and Comprehensive Partnership between the European Union and the Arab Republic of Egypt by providing rapid, flexible and high-quality technical assistance in support of jointly agreed bilateral cooperation priorities. This objective will contribute to strengthened policy dialogue, improved programme implementation and reinforced institutional capacities of Egyptian partner entities involved in EU-funded actions.

In this context, we are seeking a highly qualified Senior Non-Key Expert – Human Rights, Gender Equality & Civil Society to support technical assistance assignments related to human rights, gender equality, social inclusion, civil society development, participatory policy dialogue, and rights-based approaches.

Qualifications and Skills

• Master’s degree in human rights, law, political science, gender studies, development studies, social sciences, or a related field.
• French is an asset.

Professional Experience

• At least 7 years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience in human rights, gender equality, social inclusion and/or civil society development.
• Experience conducting policy and institutional assessments, stakeholder consultations and analytical studies.
• Experience supporting civil society organisations, public institutions and/or participatory policy dialogue.
• Good knowledge of gender mainstreaming and rights-based approaches in international cooperation.
• Experience in Egypt and/or the MENA region highly desirable.
