Job summary

NTU International A/S in Riyadh seeks a motivated Junior Non-Key Expert – Research & Policy Analyst to support technical assistance assignments through research, data collection and analysis, and the preparation of background materials.

The role involves contributing to studies, assessments, reports and policy papers, with emphasis on literature reviews, desk research and understanding of the Egyptian institutional and policy context.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in economics, political science, international relations, public policy, development studies, or a related field.
• Arabic language skills are highly desirable.
• French language is an asset.
• At least 3 years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience in desk research, literature reviews, policy analysis and preparation of background material.
• Experience collecting and structuring quantitative and qualitative information.
• Ability to support preparation of studies, assessments, reports and policy papers.
• Knowledge of the Egyptian institutional and policy context desirable.

Job description

NTU International A/S is leading a consortium for the proposal preparation of the EU-funded project called: “Egypt Drawdown Facility.”

The overall objective of this assignment is to enhance the effectiveness, coherence and visibility of the Strategic and Comprehensive Partnership between the European Union and the Arab Republic of Egypt by providing rapid, flexible and high-quality technical assistance in support of jointly agreed bilateral cooperation priorities. This objective will contribute to strengthened policy dialogue, improved programme implementation and reinforced institutional capacities of Egyptian partner entities involved in EU-funded actions.

In this context, we are seeking a motivated and analytical Junior Non-Key Expert – Research & Policy Analyst to support technical assistance assignments through research, data collection and analysis, preparation of background materials, and contributions to studies, assessments, reports and policy papers.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in economics, political science, international relations, public policy, development studies, or a related field.
