Job summary

MBRF in Saudi Arabia is seeking an experienced Health, Safety & Environment professional to lead site safety programs and ensure regulatory compliance. You will conduct inspections, manage incidents, and drive continuous improvement across operations.

The role requires a Bachelor’s or Diploma in HSE, NEBOSH/IOSH/OSHA certifications, native Arabic and business English, and ability to work on-site in Jeddah with availability to work six days a week.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Health, Safety & Environment or a related field.
  • NEBOSH/IOSH/OSHA certification and KSA professional registration is preferred.
  • Proficient knowledge of HSE practices, risk assessment, incident investigation and fire safety.

Responsibilities

  • Support the implementation and continuous improvement of HSE standards and procedures across operations.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections, risk assessments and ergonomic evaluations.
  • Record and follow up on incidents, near misses, unsafe conditions and environmental emergencies; support root cause analyses.
  • Monitor HSE KPIs and contribute to safety committees and improvement initiatives.
  • Provide HSE training to employees and visitors, including Toolbox Talks; promote a strong safety culture.
  • Coordinate firefighting, emergency drills, and ensure documentation is up to date.
  • Maintain HSE procedures, records and reports; provide documentation to local authorities.

What will you be doing at MBRF?
  • Support the implementation and continuous improvement of Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) standards and procedures across operations
  • Conduct regular safety inspections, risk assessments and ergonomic evaluations, identifying unsafe conditions and ensuring timely corrective actions
  • Record and follow up on incidents, accidents, near misses, unsafe conditions and environmental emergencies, and support root cause investigations and action plans
  • Monitor HSE KPIs and contribute to safety committees and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Provide HSE training to employees and visitors, including regular Toolbox Talks, and promote a strong safety culture across the site
  • Ensure the correct use and availability of PPE and compliance with safe working practices
  • Coordinate fire protection activities, emergency preparedness and drills, ensuring firefighting systems and related documentation are up to date
  • Maintain and update HSE procedures, records and reports, and provide required documentation to local authorities
  • Support purchase requests for HSE-related goods and services and related administrative processes
  • Work closely with Production, Maintenance, Quality, Logistics, HR and other teams to strengthen overall HSE performance
What kind of profile are we looking for?
  • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Health, Safety & Environment or a related field
  • Minimum 2 years of HSE experience, preferably in food processing, manufacturing or a similar operational environment
  • Relevant HSE certification (NEBOSH, IOSH and/or OSHA) and required KSA professional registration
  • Good knowledge of HSE practices, risk assessment, incident investigation, fire safety and basic first aid
  • Native Arabic and business-level English
  • Based in Jeddah or willing to relocate, with flexibility to work 6 days per week at the site, located over one hour from Jeddah city center
