Job summary

Confidential is seeking an HSE Lead to drive the implementation of health, safety, and environmental policies on site, ensuring full regulatory compliance and a safe, responsible working environment.

You will lead the HSE Management System across the manufacturing facility, oversee risk assessments, incident investigations, audits, and training, and report KPIs to management while promoting a culture of continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Professional HSE certifications.
• 7-10 years of experience in HSE, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and implement the HSE Management System across the manufacturing facility.
• Ensure compliance with applicable HSE laws, regulations, standards, and company requirements.
• Identify, assess, and control operational, machinery, chemical, and process-related risks.
• Lead Risk Assessments, and ensure effective implementation of control measures.
• Conduct regular HSE inspections and audits and follow up on corrective actions.
• Lead incident, accident, and near-miss investigations, including root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Monitor HSE KPIs, performance indicators, and trends, and prepare reports for management.
• Develop and maintain Emergency Response and Preparedness Plans and conduct emergency drills.
• Ensure effective implementation of Permit to Work systems for high-risk activities.
• Oversee machine safety, guarding, and equipment safety requirements.
• Deliver HSE induction, training, toolbox talks, and safety awareness programs.
• Drive Safety Culture and Continuous Improvement initiatives across the facility.
• Provide HSE leadership and guidance to Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, and other departments.
