Job summary

Confidential is seeking an HSE Lead to champion health, safety, and environmental policies on site within our manufacturing facility. You will ensure full compliance, drive safe working practices, and lead the HSE Management System implementation across operations.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering or equivalent, professional HSE certifications, and 7–10 years of experience in HSE, preferably in manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent is required.
• Professional HSE certifications are required.
• 7–10 years of HSE experience in manufacturing or industrial settings.

Responsibilities

• Lead and implement the HSE Management System across the facility.
• Ensure compliance with HSE laws, regulations, and standards.
• Identify and control operational, machinery, chemical, and process risks.
• Conduct risk assessments and ensure control measures are in place.
• Lead inspections, audits, and corrective action follow-ups.
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses with root-cause analysis.
• Monitor HSE KPIs and report to management.
• Develop emergency plans and conduct drills.
• Oversee Permit to Work and machine safety requirements.
• Deliver HSE training and promote safety culture.
• Provide guidance to Operations, Maintenance, Engineering.

Job description

We are looking for an HSE Lead to lead the implementation of health, safety, and environmental policies on site, ensuring full compliance and a safe, responsible working environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and implement the HSE Management System across the manufacturing facility.
• Ensure compliance with applicable HSE laws, regulations, standards, and company requirements.
• Identify, assess, and control operational, machinery, chemical, and process-related risks.
• Lead Risk Assessments, and ensure effective implementation of control measures.
• Conduct regular HSE inspections and audits and follow up on corrective actions.
• Lead incident, accident, and near-miss investigations, including root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Monitor HSE KPIs, performance indicators, and trends, and prepare reports for management.
• Develop and maintain Emergency Response and Preparedness Plans and conduct emergency drills.
• Ensure effective implementation of Permit to Work systems for high-risk activities.
• Oversee machine safety, guarding, and equipment safety requirements.
• Deliver HSE induction, training, toolbox talks, and safety awareness programs.
• Drive Safety Culture and Continuous Improvement initiatives across the facility.
• Provide HSE leadership and guidance to Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, and other departments.
