Job summary

MOVENPICK Waad al Shamal seeks an Electronics Technician to maintain and test hotel systems, performing repairs in guest rooms and public areas in accordance with established procedures.

The role requires hands-on troubleshooting, 2+ years in a luxury hospitality setting and strong diagnostic skills. You will support operations during peak periods and emergencies to ensure uninterrupted service.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or 4 in Electronics, Mechatronics, or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years as Electronics Technician in luxury hospitality or 5-star hotel.
• Strong knowledge of hotel electronic systems (HVAC controls, lighting, security).
• Hands-on troubleshooting and repairing electronic components.
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools (multimeters, oscilloscopes).
• Excellent communication and ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and troubleshoot electronic components in guest rooms, public areas and back‑of‑house facilities according to specifications and procedures.
• Perform diagnostic tests on hotel systems – HVAC controls, lighting, security – using appropriate test equipment.
• Diagnose electronic problems and perform repairs or replacements; test to ensure proper functioning and guest safety.
• Escalate complex issues to senior technicians or external specialists when required.
• Support hotel operations during peak periods and emergencies to ensure continuous service.
