Job summary

Movepick Waad Al Shaml in Saudi Arabia is seeking a Kitchen & Laundry Technician to maintain and service all kitchen and laundry equipment to the highest standards, supporting culinary and housekeeping operations and guest experiences.

You will inspect, repair, and preventive maintain ovens, refrigerators, washers, steamers, and related systems; communicate in English and work under pressure in a fast-paced five-star hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role at a five-star hotel brand.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and knowledge of safety procedures.
• Able to communicate in English.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain and repair kitchen equipment including ovens, stoves, grills, refrigerators, and more to premium standards.
• Maintain and service laundry equipment including washers, dryers, steamers, and ironers.
• Perform preventive maintenance according to established schedules to minimize downtime.
• Respond promptly to urgent repair requests from kitchen and housekeeping departments to maintain guest satisfaction.
• Diagnose faults in electrical and mechanical systems and execute repairs or recommend replacements.
• Coordinate with specialized vendors for complex repairs and parts procurement.
• Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, and fire regulations for all electrical and gas appliances.
