Responsibilities

We are seeking a professional and enthusiastic Hostess to join our hospitality team in Riyadh Saudi Arabia. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will create a warm and welcoming atmosphere while ensuring seamless dining experiences. This role is essential to our restaurant's success, requiring exceptional organizational skills, genuine hospitality, and a commitment to delivering outstanding guest service aligned with our brand standards.

Welcome and greet guests with warmth, confidence, and professionalism, setting the tone for their dining experience. Manage guest seating, table allocations, and dining flow efficiently based on reservations and walk-in guests. Maintain comprehensive knowledge of menus, special events, seating arrangements, and individual guest preferences. Coordinate seamlessly with service and kitchen teams to ensure smooth operations and timely guest accommodations. Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and concerns with empathy and professionalism, escalating issues when necessary. Manage reservation systems accurately, including guest details, seating plans, and preference notes. Confirm reservation information and communicate updates promptly with relevant team members. Answer phone calls professionally and assist guests with inquiries, bookings, and special requests. Maintain an organized, clean, and inviting host stand and reception area throughout all service periods. Perform side duties including menu preparation, table resets, and entrance area maintenance. Uphold all health, safety, hygiene, and company service standards consistently. Contribute to a positive, collaborative team environment through effective communication and mutual support. Remain calm, attentive, and organized during busy service periods while managing multiple priorities.

Requirements

Preferably 1 year of experience in a guest-facing role or hospitality environment. High school diploma or equivalent required; hospitality-related education is an advantage. Excellent communication skills in English; Arabic language proficiency is highly desirable. Confident, welcoming, and professional personality with a genuine passion for guest service. Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively. Proven ability to remain calm, composed, and attentive during high-pressure service periods. Proficiency with reservation and point-of-sale systems. Excellent conflict resolution and problem-solving abilities. Professional appearance and grooming standards in line with brand expectations. Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as required. Demonstrated empathy and active listening skills. Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment. Saudi nationality preferred.
