Job summary

SLS The Red Sea is seeking an experienced Sushi Chef to lead the sushi station with precision and creativity, serving premium Japanese cuisine at a luxury Red Sea resort. You will collaborate with the culinary team to maintain high standards, develop seasonal offerings, and elevate guest dining experiences.

You will manage ingredients, supervise the sushi section, and mentor junior chefs while upholding safety, hygiene, and presentation excellence in a fast-paced luxury environment.

Qualifications

• Proven sushi preparation and Japanese cuisine expertise.
• Senior kitchen leadership experience in luxury settings.
• Strong knife skills and knife techniques.
• Experience training and motivating a diverse culinary team.
• Knowledge of HACCP, hygiene, allergen management, and food safety.

Responsibilities

• Craft and present a refined range of sushi, sashimi, nigiri, rolls, and Japanese-inspired dishes.
