Job summary

Client of Teach East is seeking an experienced Head of Maths to lead and develop the mathematics department on-site in Riyadh. The role requires driving teaching standards, mentoring colleagues, and ensuring outstanding student outcomes across all year groups.

The ideal candidate will have a mathematics degree, teaching qualification, and proven leadership experience with a track record of curriculum development, data analysis, and collaboration with senior leadership to support whole-school

Qualifications

• Degree in Mathematics or related subject and a recognised teaching qualification.
• Proven classroom teaching experience and ability to lead a curriculum area.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for the mathematics department.
• Plan, develop and evaluate the mathematics curriculum to meet national and school expectations.
• Lead, coach and mentor teaching staff to improve practice and outcomes.
• Monitor and analyse student progress and assessment data to identify trends and set targets.
• Manage department resources, timetabling and classroom allocation for effective delivery.
