Job summary

Client of Teach East in Riyadh is seeking a dedicated Maths Teacher to deliver engaging high-quality mathematics instruction to students. The successful candidate will plan and deliver lessons, assess progress and contribute positively to the school community on-site.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, a Mathematics Education background or related subject, QTS and PGCE or equivalent certification.

• Proven experience teaching mathematics with strong classroom management
• Sound understanding of assessment for learning and using data to inform teaching

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver effective maths lessons that meet curriculum standards and cater to diverse learner needs
• Create clear lesson plans and schemes of work aligned with school programmes and assessment objectives
• Use a variety of teaching strategies and resources including technology to engage students
• Assess, record and report on student progress provide constructive feedback and set targets for improvement
• Differentiate instruction to support learners of varying abilities and to challenge high-achieving students
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively and maintain a safe inclusive learning environment
• Collaborate with colleagues attend staff meetings and contribute to curriculum development and school initiatives
• Communicate professionally with parents and guardians regarding student progress and welfare
