Job summary

Aventus Global Talent is seeking a high-impact Head of Fixed Income Investments in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. You will lead the development and execution of fixed income strategies across multi-asset and discretionary mandates, guiding portfolio construction and risk management in a senior leadership capacity.

You will oversee research-driven credit analysis, monitor macro trends, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver superior risk-adjusted performance for regional and international clients.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience within Fixed Income Investments or related field.
• Demonstrable track record managing fixed income portfolios and delivering consistent risk-adjusted performance.
• Strong understanding of regional and international fixed income markets, especially Saudi Arabia and the GCC.
• Extensive knowledge of fixed income instruments including government bonds, corporates, sukuk and other debt securities.
• Experience in credit analysis, portfolio construction, investment strategy and risk management.
• Previous leadership or team management experience is highly desirable.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business or related discipline.
• CFA qualification or relevant postgraduate degree advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and execution of fixed income investment strategies across multi-asset funds, fixed income funds and discretionary portfolios.
• Identify and evaluate opportunities across regional and global fixed income markets with focus on Saudi Arabia and the GCC.
• Manage portfolio construction, asset allocation, duration, credit exposure and overall investment risk.
• Generate investment ideas to maximise risk-adjusted returns against benchmarks.
• Oversee trade execution with domestic and international counterparties; ensure cash management and reinvestment strategies.
• Ensure all activities comply with guidelines, client mandates and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct credit analysis, issuer assessments and portfolio decisions in collaboration with research teams.

About the Opportunity

A leading Asset Manager in Saudi Arabia is seeking an experienced Head of Fixed Income Investments to lead its fixed income investment strategy across a diversified portfolio of institutional and discretionary mandates. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing fixed income portfolios, developing investment strategies, identifying opportunities across regional and international markets and delivering strong risk-adjusted returns. This is a senior leadership opportunity for an investment professional with extensive experience in fixed income markets, particularly across Saudi Arabia, the GCC and wider MENA region.

Key Responsibilities

• Investment Strategy amp Portfolio Management
• Lead the development and execution of fixed income investment strategies across multi-asset funds fixed income funds and discretionary portfolios
• Identify and evaluate investment opportunities across regional and global fixed income markets with a particular focus on Saudi Arabia and the GCC
• Manage portfolio construction asset allocation duration credit exposure and overall investment risk
• Generate investment ideas aimed at maximising risk-adjusted returns against relevant benchmarks
• Oversee trade execution with domestic and international counterparties ensuring efficient cash management and reinvestment strategies
• Ensure all investment activities comply with internal investment guidelines client mandates and applicable regulatory requirements
• Investment Research amp Market Analysis
• Conduct detailed credit analysis issuer assessments and investment evaluations to support portfolio decisions
• Monitor macroeconomic developments interest rate movements credit markets and global economic trends
• Work closely with research teams to identify attractive investment opportunities and manage portfolio risks
• Prepare and present investment recommendations credit proposals and portfolio performance reports to senior management and investment committees

• Support business development initiatives including institutional client engagement investment presentations and new mandate opportunities
