Job summary

IHG Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Reservation Agent to deliver exceptional guest service and ensure a seamless reservation experience from first contact. You will handle reservations via phone, email and other channels, provide accurate information on availability and rates, and coordinate with Front Office to ensure a smooth guest experience.

The role involves promoting services and upgrades, processing changes, and assisting with special requests.

• Handle guest reservation requests via phone, email, and other channels.
• Provide accurate information about room availability, rates, packages, and services.
• Process, update and confirm reservations with attention to guest details.
• Promote hotel services, room upgrades and offers to maximise revenue.
• Assist guests with changes, cancellations and special requests.
• Coordinate with Front Office and other departments to ensure a smooth guest experience.

Education

Bachelors degree / higher education qualification / equivalent
