Job summary

IHG Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Reservation Agent to deliver exceptional guest service and ensure a seamless reservation experience from first contact. You will handle reservations via phone, email and other channels, provide accurate information on availability and rates, and coordinate with Front Office to ensure a smooth guest experience.

The role involves promoting services and upgrades, processing changes, and assisting with special requests.

We’re always looking for new ways to raise the bar. So we’re searching for a Reservation Agent with a passion for delivering exceptional guest service and ensuring every reservation experience is seamless from the very first contact.

A little taste of your day-to-day:

Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:

• Handling guest reservation requests via phone, email, and other communication channels
• Providing accurate information about room availability, rates, packages, and hotel services
• Processing, updating, and confirming reservations while ensuring all guest details are accurate
• Maximising room revenue by promoting hotel services, room upgrades, and special offers
• Assisting guests with reservation changes, cancellations, and special requests
• Coordinating with Front Office and other departments to ensure a smooth guest experience

What We Need from You:

• Bachelor’s degree / higher education qualification / equivalent preferred
• One or more years of experience in reservations, front office, or customer service, preferably in a hotel environment
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Knowledge of hotel reservation systems preferred
• Must speak local language(s)
• Other languages preferred
