Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Prior experience operating golf course or heavy machinery preferred.
• Skills: Proficient in operating golf course equipment with basic mechanical troubleshooting.
• Safety: Knowledge of safe handling procedures for chemicals and machinery.

Responsibilities

• Operate golf course machinery including mowers, tractors, sprayers, and other equipment to assist with course maintenance.
• Perform routine equipment checks and basic maintenance to ensure machinery is in good working order.
• Report any malfunctions or damages promptly to the maintenance supervisor or mechanic.
• Assist in the application of fertilizers, pesticides, and other turf treatments as directed and following safety protocols.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures when operating equipment and handling chemicals.
• Collaborate with groundskeeping team to execute maintenance schedules efficiently.
• Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and maintenance activities.
