Job summary
Siemens Energy in Saudi Arabia is seeking a Logistics Supervisor to lead daily logistics, oversee receiving, warehousing, and shipping, and drive efficient international transport operations. You will play a key role in coordinating with carriers and customs brokers to ensure timely deliveries.
The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in a related field with at least 3 years of logistics experience, strong inventory and ERP skills, and proven leadership.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of logistics/international transportation experience.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management and ERP tools.
- Experience with international freight forwarders and customs brokers.
- Proven leadership and analytical abilities; proficient in Excel and ERP.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily logistics operations including receiving, storage, shipping, and distribution.
- Manage international transportation activities and carrier selection.
- Coordinate with customs brokers for shipment clearance.
- Communicate with suppliers to resolve shipment readiness issues.
- Review shipping documents for regulatory compliance.
- Monitor inventory levels and propose efficiency improvements to cut costs.
