Job summary

DAR AL RIYADH is seeking a Head of Department Structural to lead a high-performing design function delivering complex mega projects.

You will provide strategic leadership, manage multinational teams across regions, coordinate with MEP and Infrastructure, and maintain client relationships at senior levels.

The role requires a Bachelor's or Master’s in a relevant field, 18+ years of experience in engineering consultancy, and PMP or professional body certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant discipline.
• 18+ years in engineering consultancy/design firms.
• Experience managing multinational or global design offices.
• Exposure to mega/giga projects (mixed-use, infrastructure, urban development).
• Preferred certifications: PMP or professional bodies.

Responsibilities

• Lead and scale the Structural department aligned with growth strategy.
• Establish design standards and governance across projects.
• Coordinate with MEP, Infrastructure and Master planning teams for integrated delivery.
• Oversee client engagement at senior level and manage design reviews.
• Drive BIM-led design using Revit and coordination tools.
• Build and lead a multicultural structural team across regions.
