Job summary

DAR AL RIYADH is seeking a senior mechanical engineer to lead the design and implementation of mechanical systems for a major infrastructure project. You will collaborate across disciplines, conduct risk assessments, and oversee procurement, installation and commissioning of essential equipment.

The role requires a PE license (preferred), a strong background in CAD tools, and a proven ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• 15+ years of experience in mechanical engineering on large-scale infra projects.
• PE license preferred.
• Proficiency in CAD software and engineering tools.
• Strong project management and communication skills.
• Thorough understanding of relevant industry regulations and codes.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design development and implementation of mechanical systems and components for the infrastructure project.
• Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to ensure the integration of mechanical systems with overall project requirements.
• Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments related to mechanical systems and components.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to project team members and stakeholders.
• Oversee the procurement installation and commissioning of mechanical equipment and systems.
• Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure the reliability and safety of mechanical systems.
• Manage and coordinate with external vendors contractors and consultants involved in the mechanical aspects of the project.
• Review and approve mechanical engineering designs specifications and documentation.
• Thorough understanding of relevant industry regulations and codes.
