Job summary

Eram Talent seeks an experienced Gas Distribution SCADA Specialist to join a leading energy company in Saudi Arabia. You will maintain and administer the Marafiq Gas Distribution Network (GDN) in Yanbu, including its communication network, to ensure high equipment availability and optimize system performance.

As a Gas Distribution SCADA Specialist, you will develop, implement, and maintain SCADA systems, enabling real-time monitoring and control of gas distribution activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in I&C, computer or electronics engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 8 years of SCADA experience in gas distribution.
• Experience with Wonderware SCADA and Emerson RTUs.
• Knowledge of Modbus and RS232/RS485 communications.
• Familiar with SAP Plant Maintenance module.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on SCADA software, OS, hardware, RTUs, and comms networks.
• Administer SCADA systems and networks; install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows services.
• Monitor alarms, events, CPU usage, disk space, and network traffic for reliability.
• Analyze real-time data using historians and visualization tools to present system info.
• Provide technical support to operations and resolve SCADA failures.
• Test, commission, and integrate new SCADA systems and devices.
• Manage system security, user accounts, and access control.
• Maintain backups and disaster recovery procedures.
• Handle hardware maintenance, inventory, and AMI-related activities.
• Support projects, review designs, surveys, vendor coordination, and reliability studies.
