Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
• Professional qualification preferred (SOCPA, ACA, CPA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• 5–8 years of experience in football/sports finance preferred.
• Knowledge of player and managerial staff contracts, amortization and transfers.
• Strong analytical ability and stakeholder management.
• High confidentiality, ethics and professionalism.

Job Overview

Al-Qadsiah Club is seeking a highly experienced Football Finance Business Partner to join our Finance team in Al Khobar. In this role you will provide support to the Menu2019s Football department to deliver accurate data-based information and analysis including player-related financial matters and facilitate business decision coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic and financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, monitoring, reporting and project management.
• Manage the monthly forecast process for relevant business areas with a key focus on P amp L Cashflow and helping to ensure financial sustainability while also maintaining and the communication of opportunities and risks throughout the season.
• Build budget models for executive management for planning including player transfer budgets.
• Translate complex financial data into actionable strategies.
• Support the FP amp A team in reporting financial and operational results.
• Identify and deliver financial analysis and data to support the FP amp A and CFO as well as the wider team in their role.
• Timely and accurate provision of financial information to help support the reputational excellence of the team.
• Liaising with various internal and external stakeholders for preparation of presentations and information for regular reporting packs which feed into the Board and ExCom updates as well as production of any other key reporting packs provided to CFO and senior leadership team.
• Support player contract financial analysis benchmarking and financial modeling.
• Support planning and management of Capex Budget through the production of robust business cases Capex forecasting both seasonal and long term and annual Capex budgeting and approval process.
• Track compliance with regulatory requirements overdue payable squad control etc as applicable.
• Conduct variance analysis on football operations costs.
• Collaborating with sporting staff to ensure alignment with overall club strategy and business plan.
• Maintain an up to date knowledge of the financial reporting framework as well as local and international sports regulations and guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bacheloru2019s degree in Finance or Accounting.
• Professional qualification is preferable (SOCPA, ACA, CPA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• 5u20138 years of experience (experience in football / sports finance preferred).
• Knowledge of player and managerial staff contracts accounting, amortization and transfers.
• Strong attention to detail and balanced with the speed at which information needs to be provided for effective decision making.
• Ability to create insights from a variety of data sources and provide support in recommendations.
• Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills.
