Job summary

Al-Qadsiah Club in Al Khobar seeks an Accounting Operations Manager to lead the accounting team through daily operations, monthly close, and reconciliations in a sports finance environment. You will ensure policy adherence, drive efficiencies, and collaborate with audit and reporting teams to maintain accuracy and timeliness.

The role requires IFRS knowledge, strong internal controls, and 6–8 years of relevant experience, preferably in football/sports finance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and professional qualification is required (SOCPA, CPA, CIMA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent).
• 6–8 years of experience (experience in football/sports finance preferred).

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operational accounting activities across departments and GL team to meet period end close deadlines.
• Oversee monthly close activities, reconciliations, and compliance-related tasks.
• Oversee accounting for intercompany, fixed assets, accounts payable/receivable, and player accounting, ensuring policy adherence.
