Job summary

confidential is seeking an experienced Manager to lead Freight Transport, Dry Cargo, and Logistics Services. You will oversee transport operations, manage routes and staffing, and drive on-time delivery while controlling costs.

You will analyze KPIs, coordinate with clients, ensure safety compliance, and implement vehicle-tracking and TMS systems. Strong leadership, planning, and problem-solving are essential in Saudi operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• Experience in managing freight transport operations and logistics services.
• Experience in managing equipment, drivers, and routes.
• Experience in cost analysis and operational performance indicators.
• Preferred experience in TMS/Fleet Management and vehicle tracking systems.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills; problem-solving ability.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle emergencies.
• Good knowledge of safety and transport systems in the Saudi context.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing transport operations and logistics, and preparing staffing plans and routes.
• Managing and distributing routes among vehicles and drivers, ensuring their execution.
• Monitoring readiness of equipment, maintenance, and fuel consumption.
• Supervising drivers and staffing teams, monitoring performance and compliance.
• Planning routes and optimizing equipment utilization, reducing trips and costs.
• Monitoring loading, unloading, and delivery operations, ensuring adherence to schedules.
• Addressing issues, delays, and operational complaints, coordinating with clients.
• Ensuring compliance with transport and safety regulations and standards.
• Analyzing operational costs and KPIs, preparing reports for senior management.
• Working to enhance operational efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
